As part of the Art Garden Hotels project, a special installation by Renata Schalcher has been created at the Hotel Palazzo Salis in Soglio. Her meditative installations made of metal and radiant mirrors are dedicated to the pleasure gardens of the Palazzo Salis.

After a brief welcome address by the tenant, Riccardo Cicognani, Renata Schalcher will lead a tour through the gardens and their installations. The subsequent reception will provide an opportunity for conversation. You are warmly invited to attend the opening and meet the artist and the artworks.

Art Garden Hotels is a unique, decentralized open-air art exhibition held annually at the member hotels of the Garden Hotels Switzerland association.

The Garden Hotels Switzerland association unites individual hotels whose gardens are far more than just a green backdrop. Each hotel has its own story and boasts a unique garden – brimming with biodiversity, fragrant blossoms, tranquil retreats, or lovingly tended vegetable and herb beds. What unites them all is the harmonious interplay of hotel, garden, and cuisine, creating an unparalleled overall experience.

The Garden Hotels Switzerland association comprises its member hotels and Stammgast GmbH, an agency specializing in marketing and digitalization. Art Garden Hotels combines art and gardens in a harmonious symbiosis. A diverse range of artworks, specifically designed for an open-air exhibition and seamlessly integrated into the garden landscapes, are presented in the hotel gardens.
