Trialistic Essence

An information-refined distillation of Giovanni Segantini's Alpine triptych

on the 1st floor of the Hotel Palazzo Salis

Organizer: Center for Cognitive Arts

History and future manifest themselves in Bergell: the famous Alpine triptych by Giovanni Segantini (1858-1899) was interpreted by the communication analyst Felix Stoffel (1959* in Atlanta, Georgia) using his method of cognitive art.

The painter Giovanni Segantini, who was most recently based in Maloja, dealt intensively with the cycles of life based on his own history and (as the crowning achievement of his work) created the threefold concept 'Becoming - Being - Deceasing' just before the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries (s)an epochal masterpiece.

Felix Stoffel's cognitive interpretation will be presented to the public during the Artipasto 2024 event. From now on, the three works can be admired in room 10, right next to the room in which Segantini himself once stayed.
